THE PROGRAM
Presentation
The general objective of the PPG MCTI is to train researchers capable of studying the interdisciplinary process of computer modeling and simulation with a systemic vision of the three lines of research addressed in the program: Complex Systems, Modeling of Cognitive Systems and Modeling of Industrial Processes.
The PPG MCTI is recognized with grade 6 by CAPES.
Interdisciplinary Training in Computational Modeling
Computational Modeling: Linking Theory and Reality
Academic Innovation and Continuous Updating
THE PROGRAM
Interdisciplinary Computational Modeling: Innovation and Research to Transform Industry
Computer modeling is used as a language and mediation environment for the development of real-world simulations. Within this context, the perspective is one of interdisciplinary methodological construction. The PPG MCTI works continuously in its academic activities, generating possibilities and permanent stimuli for updating curricular structures, integrating different points of view and with a view to offering courses, scientific initiation and academic, technical, scientific and cultural exchange. In this way, we aim to train researchers capable of studying the interdisciplinary process of computer modeling and simulation, recognizing the different possibilities for application in industry.
